Bio
As a Bay Area native with over 30 years of experience in the field of education, Erin brings a wealth of knowledge to her work with families, educators and policy makers. She was a preschool teacher and director, managed county and statewide early childhood education programs, and has provided technical assistance to states across the country. She is a former Children's Defense Fund Fellow and served under the Biden administration as the Federation of American Scientists Senior Early Learning Impact Fellow in the U.S. Department of Education.
Erin has taught child development and special education undergraduate and graduate courses at a number of colleges and universities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a certified educator through the Tourette Association of America and a certified Program for Infant/Toddler Care trainer. Erin has provided special education advocacy support to families for over 10 years and has served on numerous statewide and local boards and advisory groups.
Membership: Council of Professional Attorneys and Advocates, Council for Exceptional Children, California Community College Early Childhood Educators, and California's Multilingual Education for All.
